The right info,
at every handover.

Nursing homes, home care, clinics: between two shifts, the critical info gets passed along by word of mouth, in an unreadable logbook or in a personal text. Roomee brings handovers, up-to-date protocols and fill-in onboarding into one space your teams open at shift start. Once, in the right place. And that's it. No patient records, no care data.

The handover stops at the logbook.

Your managers spend 40 minutes a day on average chasing, repeating, asking again — because they never know who's actually seen it.

11:30 p.m. Shift change.

The day-shift care assistant hands off to the night nurse. A logbook, half-legible notes, a hygiene instruction changed in a hurry. The fill-in who arrives at 11:45 p.m. gets a rushed verbal handover between two calls. The next night, another fill-in takes over: they weren't there, they know nothing. No context, no proof the instruction got through.

It's not a time problem. It's a place problem. The critical instruction lives in the wrong place.

At the night handover, an instruction that blurs on the way and doesn't survive the logbook.

Care 24/7, teams on rotation. The info, though, stops at the handover.

Your week when the info lives on the paper logbook and WhatsApp: here's what we know.

  • The handover gets lost between two teams.

Unreadable logbook, forgotten word-of-mouth, no trace. The fill-in on the night shift leaves with nothing from the day before: precautions, a change in condition, a revised instruction.

  • Onboarding a fill-in takes time, leaves gaps.

Where are the unit's instructions? The floor plan? The night manager? Every arrival, you start over: an email, a PDF, explanations out loud.

  • A protocol sent out. No proof it was seen.

A PDF sent by email, half-read. A paper version that contradicts the digital one. “Does everyone have the right version?” Nobody knows.

  • Care instructions, on personal WhatsApp.

A misread instruction is a risk. So teams work around it: personal accounts, outside the location's control, with health data on them.

  • International staff, protocols in French only.

A misunderstood instruction weakens care. The translation? Off in a corner, with a consumer tool. Never knowing what actually landed.

  • Turnover erases the location's memory.

Job aids get lost again. Practices get relearned. The org chart taped to the wall? Out of date by the next day.

The handover no longer stops at the time clock.

2:08 p.m.: the handover gets cut short to “clock out on time.” The shift instruction opened the day before never gets mentioned, the verbal handoff slips between two tasks, and the next team leaves without the context. The enemy is the logbook and “I thought you'd told them.”

Roomee. End-of-shift instructions go into the team Feed and stay after the shift walks out: time-stamped, readable, with who's read them. The incoming shift sees what's changed since they were last on. And you follow up only with those who haven't read it. Not everyone “just in case.”

One version of the protocol. And everyone knows it's the right one.

Is the procedure in a binder in the back, in the file, or on the note pinned up in the break room? The printed 2019 version lingers while the update went somewhere else, and at night everyone follows the version they know. The enemy is the procedure you can't find and the stale copy.

Roomee. A single up-to-date version lives in the team Drive: “Protocols,” “Service procedures.” Reachable from the phone, even at night. Someone's looking for a procedure? The answer comes back citing its source: it's Noah, the AI built into Roomee, finding the info in your documents without ever making it up.

Onboarding a fill-in? Wasted time, gaps everywhere.

Where are the unit's instructions? The site floor plan? Who to call at night? Onboarding gets rebuilt by hand: an email, a photocopied PDF, explanations out loud. The fill-in works the night without the context, then never comes back.

Roomee. The new hire joins their team space, and its Drives: job aid, unit instructions, floor plan, emergency procedures. It's all waiting on day one. The org chart shows who's in charge and how to reach them, in two clicks. No more photocopies, no more handing it over by hand.

Frequently asked questions. Care and nursing teams

  • Q1. Does Roomee replace the patient record or the care software?

No. Roomee is team communication and coordination: handovers, service procedures, hygiene instructions, org chart. No patient data, no care, no compliance (quality, safety, HAS) handled on your behalf. Roomee makes internal handovers easier; your dedicated care software and your clinical responsibility stay untouched.

  • Q2. Do fill-in staff need a work email address?

No. Sign in with a personal email or a phone number. No MDM, no install, no work address required. It's built for frontline teams that don't have a desk.

  • Q3. What about patients' health data?

Roomee processes no patient or clinical data. It hosts team documents: job aids, instructions, service procedures. And internal communication. All of it in Europe (Frankfurt), encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), designed to support GDPR compliance. Roomee doesn't host health data and claims no health-data hosting (HDS) certification: your care data stays in your dedicated software, under your responsibility.

  • Q4. Can multilingual teams use Roomee?

Yes. Noah, the AI built into Roomee, translates every post and document into 10 languages: French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese. Translation is triggered by a tap: everyone reads in their own language, and the original stays visible to check the intent.

  • Q5. How much does it cost per location?

Pricing is per location, not per user: the Essential, Pro or Premium tier follows team size (up to 30, 60 or 120 team members), with custom plans beyond that. Pricing also depends on the number of sites, and we price it to your scope — a quote within 24 to 48 hours. With two or more locations, the Group plan takes 20% off per location depending on its size, with multi-location features included. Essential comes with no commitment; Pro and Premium on 12-month terms, with 2 months free on annual billing. Data hosted in Europe (Frankfurt).

  • Q6. Does Roomee certify my location's compliance?

No. Roomee distributes and centralizes team communication. That's all. Hygiene compliance, ongoing training and quality audits stay your responsibility. On Roomee's side: data hosted in Europe (Frankfurt), encrypted (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), designed to support GDPR compliance.
