What is a multi-location company?
A multi-location company is an organization that runs several separate establishments — restaurants, hotels, warehouses, stores, residences — under a single management, each location having its own teams, its own local constraints, and often its own rhythm.
This model creates a structural gap between headquarters, which sets the framework, and the field, which applies it. The central difficulty is ensuring consistency (same instructions, same standards) while leaving each location the autonomy it needs to operate.
